Surmani Bhimanna Jadhav a renowned world-class Sundri Player. The legendary Sundri Maestro believes in "Sur Hi Ishwar Hai" (Music is God). When Bhimanna was 4 years old, he was introduced to this ancestral legacy 'Sundri' and he received his early training from his Grandfather Late Pt. Sidram. Jadhav and Father Late Pt. Chidanand Jadhay. In 1991 at the age of 7 he made his public debut as a broadcaster for Yuvavani All India Radio', Solapur. Sundri is a rare and unique wind instrument invented, nourished, developed and restricted to Jadhav family through past generations. But Bhimanna has glorified this instrument by crossing the boundaries of India. He has made his family dreams come true by performing his art in France and Belgium. At present Bhimanna is 'A' grade artist of Ali India Radio'. He has performed Jugalbandi (Duet) Concerts with others Instruments like Shehnai, Clarinet, Sitar, Hawaii Guitar, Violin, Nadswaram, and Santoor.

Through the organization "LATE SUNDRI SAMRAT SIDRAM JADHAV SANSKRUTIK KALA MANDAL" he has established 'SUNDRI SAMRAT SID-RAM JADHAV & Pt. CHIDANAND JADHAV SANGEET VIDYALAYA where he has been training many would be maestros. He is trying his best to lead and to fulfill the age old dreams of his family to justify and popularize this unique instrument.
